The question
How can scent express an organisation whose work is part of everyday life but often goes unseen? For UNI, interviews with decision makers accompanied a study of its mission, values, visual codes and spaces.
The olfactory direction
The concept focuses on the connections created by standards. Rigore Salato brings together green, woody, amber and salty notes, exploring the relationship between precision and human warmth. Its name makes that tension explicit.
From fragrance to a system
The work includes naming, narrative, colour references, guidance for use and a Scent Identity Book. These elements provide a shared reference for introducing the fragrance across the organisation’s points of contact.
A design lesson
An abstract value becomes a design decision when its behaviours, contrasts and meanings are made clear. The brief makes this translation possible.
